What we keep, and why
What we collect
Your name, email address and a hash of your password when you create an account; billing name, address and GSTIN if you enter them for invoices; the API keys you create (stored as hashes); a count of your API calls per key per day; and the invoices we issue you. Payments are handled by Razorpay, which holds your card or UPI details — we receive only a payment reference.
What we do with it
Run the service: authenticate you, enforce plan limits, bill you, send receipts and the few operational emails described in the dashboard (verification, renewal reminders, quota warnings, password reset). We do not sell it or use it for advertising. We do not log the content of your API queries beyond the count.
The directory data
The data the API serves — villages, bodies, wards — is public government data and contains no personal information.
Where it lives
On servers in India (Mumbai region). Invoices are kept for the period Indian tax law requires. Delete your account from the dashboard or by writing to us; usage counts and invoices are retained as accounting records, everything else is removed.
